Who we are! About our staff

Recently we have been asked several times why we have no information introducing our staff on our website..... After much thought and deliberation I have decided it may not be a bad thing to have a small bio about each of us. So here is a little more info about the company, the things we do and our staff. I hope this satisies the curious and explains why some members of a staff may at times seem clueless on the phone!! Not all the staff here have a technical background or level of technical knowledge. They are here to do other jobs but answering the phone is covered by everyone and then we will try to put you in contact with the most relevant person for your query. If that is not possible we will take details and have them call you back. We have a great section on the website for getting in touch with us too. This has a number of contact methods and we will try to respond as quickly as possible.

So we are located in a village location and despite local advertising through local newsletters etc, there are still people who have lived here their whole lives who do not know we exist. I find this amusing as they look without seeing and miss us yet people visit us that find us through the various channels and they come from all over the world. We have even had a guy that came from France on holiday and stayed locally bringing his TV with him from France to have it mended. We had another guy from Poland who dropped his TV off with us on his way to visit relatives in Newcastle. We then repaired his TV and he collected it on the return trip to heading back to Poland. We ship spare parts for TVs and laptops all over the world.

Chris

At the top of the chain is the business owner Chris. He is the electrical engineer and TV repair guy. He carries out any jobs here that relate to TVs, plasma screens, LED sets, LCD Panels and other electrical goods. He is also responsible for the delivery and collection of goods. He can often be spotted driving around in his van. Chris tests all the TV spares that we sell both through the website and on eBay. If you have questions about the inside of a tv it is him that you need to speak to. He deals with control of stock on parts for sale too so if you want to know if we have something that have a chat with him. He completed training in electrical engineering and had over 18 years of experience. We have been dealing with TVs since we started and deal with many of the traders in the industry. He has just turned 40 years old and we are all loving teasing him.

Michelle

Michelle is Chris's little sister and she was brought in to help out with product packaging and helping to send our items sold through our various eCommerce platforms on their merry way. She loves wrapping things in bubble wrap so they are neat, tidy and most of all safe. Michelle is very shy and quiet. She will often answer the phone. She does not have a great technical knowledge but will point you in the direction of someone who can help you.

Jamie

Jamie is our office busy bee. He does all our booking in and database work. He has also been learning over the last year to do some of the basic jobs with computers.
